DIMAU APPS — OFFLINE KIT
========================

This folder runs the Dimau creator apps (3D Studio, Video, Voice, Create and Cinema)
on your own computer, with no internet connection.

Most people do not need this kit: open the apps in Chrome, Edge or Safari and choose
Install (or Add to Home Screen). They then start instantly and work offline.
Use this kit for computers without internet, classrooms, labs, USB sticks,
or to host the apps on your own web server.

START
-----
Windows: double-click "Start Dimau (Windows).cmd"
macOS: double-click "Start Dimau (Mac).command"
macOS may say it cannot verify the file because it was downloaded.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway",
or run it from Terminal: sh "Start Dimau (Mac).command"
Linux: run sh start-dimau-linux.sh

Your browser opens http://127.0.0.1:5190/apps.html. Keep the small window open
while you work; close it (or press Ctrl+C) to stop.

The kit needs Node.js 18+ (https://nodejs.org) or Python 3.8+ (https://www.python.org).
Most Mac and Linux computers already have Python 3.

Options (add them after the start command):
--port 5191 use another port if 5190 is busy
--no-open do not open a browser
--lan let other devices on your network open the apps at
                http://<this-computer's-address>:5190/

YOUR WORK
---------
Projects are saved by your browser on this computer, for this address
(http://127.0.0.1:5190). Keep the same port each time. Use each app's Export or
Save buttons to keep backup files.

WHAT NEEDS INTERNET
-------------------
Everything in the editors works offline. These features need a connection:
signing in to a Dimau account, AI image/video generation in Create, provider
voice rendering, and sharing links.

HOST IT YOURSELF
----------------
The "app" folder is a complete static website. Upload its contents to any web host
(Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, S3, nginx, a school server). Serve
.webmanifest as application/manifest+json and sw.js with "Cache-Control: no-cache".
Offline saving and installing need https (or localhost).

LICENCES
--------
See app/THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt and app/licenses/.
